Larry Stevens
The Larry Stevens’ band - an adult contemporary band comprised of full-time musicians, playing everything from rock-pop originals to a variety of cover songs, has been busy booking shows throughout the Tri-state area. Recently, Larry Stevens, front man-lead singer, and the band’s songwriter, just finished writing with some of Nashville’s best writers to create his sophomore album, “Downstairs at Mayo’s” – an adult contemporary CD that blends rock and pop with a twist of country. The new EP is a follow-up to his successful debut album, “Heart of a Fighter.” He has been busy performing all over the East Coast to promote the new CD and is excited to share his music as well as cover songs with new and old fans.
In addition, Larry Stevens most recently has been featured on WFDU 89.1 FM radio as a guest on a popular morning show and had the honor of performing for our wounded warriors at Walter Reed Medical Center in Washington, D.C. In addition, the Larry Stevens’ Band has been busy performing at various concert series, festivals, restaurants, and private events. Some past highlights were opening for Peter Frampton at the Quik Check Festival of Ballooning in NJ as well as sharing the stage with The Doobie Brothers at an outdoor concert. Also, Larry was bestowed the honor of being inducted into the prestigious New York Friars’ Club. His band is composed of upbeat, creative full-time musicians who put their special musical twist on a variety of cover songs, ranging from Van Morrison, Elvis, the Beatles, Eric Clapton, to John Mayer along with his originals. Larry’s focus is to make the audience, no matter what age, feel special and as though they are part of the performance.
